Meet Dr. Miller

Dr. Miller is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. His undergraduate studies were completed at Brigham Young University receiving a Bachelors in Mathematics. He subsequently attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors and was awarded the National ADEA scholarship. Following dental school, Dr. Miller completed medical school at UTHSC Houston earning a Doctor of Medicine degree.

Following medical school, he completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UTHSC Houston in the Texas Medical Center. He was fortunate to train with many outstanding faculty in many specialties both at UT Houston and Baylor residency programs. He completed a General Surgery internship and completed his Anesthesia training for adults and children.

After residency, Dr. Miller went into private practice for 6 years in South Carolina. He then came back to Academics as an Assistant Professor engaged in teaching, lecturing, research and training dental students and dentists to perform oral surgery procedures. While he is still active in teaching, research and surgery training, he is able to practice at Rocky Mountain Oral Surgery on select days to address the oral surgery needs in the community.
